All information provided (e.g., sex, age, pedigree, breeding history, show history, health) is correct to the best of our knowledge and we are committed to providing information to our buyers 'above and beyond' the industry norm (all rabbits/cavies are sold with pedigrees which include color genotype, an information sheet including history during our time with us, and additional information on our herd genetics (siblings etc) is available on our website. Our use of the term 'show quality' means that to the best of our knowledge, the animal has no defects, disqualifications or major faults that would prevent it from doing well on the show table - it is not a guarantee of performance. We strongly encourage potential buyers to double-check health, gender, and against the show standards (and any other characteristics they deem important). Rabbits and cavies are generally available at 8-9 weeks old. All sales are final. No refunds. Discounts available to 4H Youth. email: email@example.com or call 517-851-2197
Tan Pattern Cavies
Minifluffs Niklaus - American black tan boar. Born 11/27/18. Full pedigree. Mom is a blue tan so he definitely carries it. Dad is black tan. Nice typed but overmarked and has mild pea-eye. $10
Swiss cavies are not yet accepted for show under ACBA standards. COD pending which will follow the British standard requiring at least 5cm coat length. None of the Swiss we currently have available will meet that standard, though we are working towards it.
Breeding trio sale - Oberon, Peaseblossom, and Sugarplum (below) - $30 for all 3. Second string and lacking length for where I want to go, but offset one-another's faults fairly well for someone wanting to start a Swiss project.
Peaseblossom - Swiss lilac/cream sow. Estimated 2 years, proven (2 litters). No pedigree. $20
Oberon - Swiss-bred Tortoiseshell (black/red) boar born 7/7/19. No pedigree: dam is Titania (REO), sire unknown). Chocolate siblings so may carry chocolate. His coat has come in at length and pattern similar to Peaseblossom's (longer and wispy in rear) but lacking in density. $15.
Thistledown - lilac/cream boar. Born 6/27/19. No pedigree (Dam is Peaseblossom above, sire unknown). Slightly better length and density than his sister. $15.
angoras are currently kept in short-clipped coats.
Minifluff's Malakbel - Chocolate senior buck, born 5/16/13. Carries the sable gene. Proven, but his last litter was several years ago (just have been using his descendants instead). Pedigreed $50
Minifluff's Samhain - Lilac tort senior buck born 10/23/2015. Has ear tassels periodically (not sure why they don't come back after every molt - he tends to only get them in winter) which is a show fault on French angoras (though really cute). Semi-proven (doe had a litter of 10+ born almost a week pre-mature, they didn't survive). Given the litter was mostly white, I believe he carries rew or sable. Pedigreed $50.
[Photo pending] Minifluff's Rascal - black tort senior doe born 5/28/16. Never bred. Seriously overweight - probably false dwarf. Pedigreed $15.
[Photo pending] Minifluff's Wildmoon - opal senior buck born 5/1/14. Very poor ring color, we thought he was a blue otter for a long time. He's outgrown his wild tendencies as a kit, Josh used him for showmanship and with a little work he would make a good showmanship rabbit again. Pedigreed $15.
